Ingredients
| 1 cup (240 ml) | Frank's RedHot Sauce |
| 1/3 cup (80 ml) | vegetable oil |
| 2 teaspoons | sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | garlic powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | pepper |
| 1/2 teaspoon | cayenne pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 tablespoon (14 g) | butter |
| 1 | egg yolk |
| 3 teaspoons (15 ml) | water |
| 3 teaspoons | cornstarch |
| 1-2 dozen | cooked wings |
Instructions
- Combine the hot sauce, vegetable oil, sugar, garlic powder, pepper, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce and butter in a small saucepan and stir to mix. Heat over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Combine the egg yolk, water and cornstarch in a small bowl and whisk until fully combined. Whisk this mixture into the cooled sauce.
- Toss the cooked wings in the sauce and serve!
