
Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese
A copycat of the Chick-fil-A mac and cheese: elbow macaroni bathed in a rich blend of American, Parmesan and Romano cheeses with heavy cream, topped with shredded Colby Jack and broiled until golden.

Ingredients
| 16 oz (450 g) | macaroni |
| 1 tbsp | salt |
| 1 1/4 lb (565 g) | American cheese |
| 2 tbsp | Parmesan cheese |
| 1 tbsp | Romano cheese |
| 2 cups (480 ml) | heavy cream |
| 4 oz (115 g) | Colby Jack cheese, shredded |
Instructions
- Fill a large pot two-thirds full of water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook to al dente, then drain.
- In a medium pot, combine the heavy cream, American cheese, Parmesan and Romano. Melt over medium heat, stirring frequently, without letting the cheese scorch.
- Turn the oven on to broil, high.
- Place the cooked pasta in a 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish and pour the melted cheese sauce over it.
- Scatter the shredded Colby Jack cheese over the top and place under the broiler.
- Broil just until the cheese begins to brown; serve hot.
