Instructions
Note: The source page lists only the title with no ingredients or instructions. The following is the standard, classic method for copycat McDonald's-style chicken nuggets.
- Blend the chicken breast in a food processor with the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder until it forms a smooth paste, adding a splash of water if needed.
- Shape the mixture into small flat nugget shapes and freeze for about 30 minutes so they hold together.
- Set up a breading station: seasoned flour, beaten egg, and a second bowl of seasoned flour. Coat each nugget in flour, then egg, then flour again.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the nuggets in batches for 3–4 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C).
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
